Organic ingredients in our products have been grown using 100% natural farming methods. Methods using no artificial fertilizers, pesticides, or growth regulators. 

Natural ingredients in skincare formulations refer to substances derived from plants, minerals, or other naturally occurring sources. These ingredients are minimally processed and typically free from synthetic chemicals and additives. Examples of common natural skincare ingredients include plant oils such as jojoba oil or argan oil, botanical extracts like aloe vera or green tea extract, as well as natural emollients such as shea butter or cocoa butter. Natural ingredients are valued for their perceived gentleness on the skin, as well as their potential to provide nourishment, hydration, and other beneficial properties.

Functional ingredients in organic skincare formulations are compounds selected for their specific beneficial properties and effects on the skin. These ingredients serve a purpose beyond basic hydration or protection, often targeting particular skin concerns such as aging, hyperpigmentation, or acne. Examples of functional ingredients commonly found in organic skincare products include antioxidants like vitamin C or green tea extract, which help neutralize free radicals and protect against environmental damage. Other examples include hyaluronic acid for intense hydration, niacinamide for brightening and evening skin tone, and natural exfoliants such as fruit enzymes or alpha hydroxy acids for gentle skin renewal. Functional ingredients in organic skincare formulations are chosen not only for their effectiveness but also for their compatibility with organic principles, ensuring that they are sourced sustainably and without synthetic chemicals or additives.

Synthetic ingredients are compounds created synthetically rather than being directly extracted or harvested from natural sources. Although some synthetic ingredients may have origins in nature, they are subjected to laboratory refinement to achieve a purified version of the original raw material. In specific instances, synthetic ingredients are valued for their capacity to provide precise functions and desired results.

The scientific names (INCI – International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients) of some naturally occurring ingredients might sound synthetic. For example, sea salt is sodium chloride, and citric acid represents lemon. Coco-Glucoside serves as a prevalent and natural substitute for conventional foaming agents and surfactants. EcoCert & COSMOS ingredients such as Caprylyl/Capryl Glucoside are plant derived, GMO free and EcoCert approved.
