What Does Clear-Sense Treat?

Telangiectasia (Broken Capillaries) These are small dilated blood vessels near the skin’s surface. Most commonly found on the face—particularly around the nose, cheeks, and chin—and chest area. Contributing factors include environmental damage (sun/cold exposure), aging, skin trauma from injuries or surgical procedures, and radiation therapy.

Cherry Angiomas Small clusters of capillaries that form round, dome-shaped papules on the skin’s surface. They begin as tiny, flat red dots that may grow up to a centimeter or larger. Color ranges from bright red to purple, with larger ones becoming thick and raised. Common causes include aging, pregnancy, genetic predisposition, and excessive sun exposure.

Sebaceous Hyperplasia A benign oil gland disorder typically affecting middle-aged and older adults. Presents as yellow, soft papules with a distinctive “donut-like” appearance due to the oil surrounding the pore. Most commonly appears on the nose, cheeks, and forehead, with occasional occurrence on the chest and other body areas.

Brown Spots (Lentigo) Distinct pigmented spots with clearly defined edges surrounded by normal skin. Unlike freckles, their color remains stable regardless of sun exposure. Solar lentigo (also known as sun spots or liver spots) typically appear on sun-exposed areas like the face, arms, hands, and chest. They measure less than 5mm in diameter, ranging from yellow-tan to black in color, and commonly affect individuals aged 30-50.

Seborrheic Keratosis Benign skin growths originating from keratinocytes in the epidermis’s outer layer. These age-related lesions appear slightly elevated with a waxy or scaly “pasted on” appearance. They range from light tan to black in color and can vary from very small to over one inch in size. Though typically painless, friction from clothing or jewelry may cause irritation.

Skin Tags Small, benign growths that form primarily in skin creases (neck, armpit, groin) and occasionally on facial areas including eyelids. Usually rice-sized but can grow up to half an inch, with textures ranging from smooth to rough. More prevalent in women, common causes include weight gain, genetics, diabetes, and pregnancy.

Blackheads (Comedones) Black-colored bumps caused by excess oil accumulation in sebaceous gland ducts. Composed primarily of keratin and sebum, their dark appearance results from irregular light reflection in clogged hair follicles and oxidation of the open follicle. The extracted content typically appears yellow or brown rather than black.

Milia Keratin-filled cysts that develop just beneath the epidermis. While extremely common in newborns, they can affect people of all ages. Typically found around the nose and eye area. Unlike in children where they often resolve spontaneously, adult cases may require professional removal.

Cystic Acne A common skin condition characterized by blackheads, whiteheads, papules, pimples, and cysts, often resulting in scarring. Primarily affects the face, back, and chest, with possible inflammation. While most common during adolescence, it can persist into or develop during adulthood. Caused by hair follicle blockages and heavily influenced by hormonal changes and genetic factors.
